Creative Printing
Do you remember making hand-prints with paint, when you were smaller? 

Today you can use your hands, or you can find objects with interesting textures such as an old toothbrush, an old sponge, a leaf, orange peel, scrunched up newspaper... let your creativity guide you! (Just make sure you ask permission first!)

Create patterns and shapes using different prints and different colours. 
Experiment and most of all have fun.

Choose a song you really like. 

Your creative task today is to:
Create a DANCE

It must include:

  • 4 DIFFERENT BODY SHAPES (pencil, star, ball etc.)
  • Using 4 different body parts (arms, legs, fingers, elbows, knees etc.)
  • 2 levels (floor and standing)
If you are working with a partner, 
see if your partner can mirror your moves
by copying you at exactly the same time.

In the literacy section today you have a selection of 
play-scripts for fairytales!

Your creative task today is to choose one fairy-tale and 
using recycled materials, papers, card, colours... 

Make masks/ props/ costumes etc. 
whatever you think you will need for your play. 

Be creative and have fun. :)

LESSON 16

Create a QUIZ 
Choose a topic of your choice, eg.
animals, sports, countries, Ireland, science,
history, maths, Games, Movies...
and write down questions about that topic. 

You could create a Quiz with different rounds
and each round could be based on a new topic. 

Then find someone brave enough to try your Quiz!

Add up the score
and don't forget to make a fun prize!

Imagine the government asked all the children to help design what school should be like. 
Record your ideas and think about:

School start time and end time? 
Subjects covered in school. 
Books vs. technology
Homework
Play-time
Lunch 
Tests

Imagine there is secret treasure hidden in your house!



What kind of treasure is it?  How did it get there?? Who buried it? Is it something magical? 
What will you do with it when you find it?


Now draw a map of your house! Try to include all the details, size and shape of the rooms, stairs, hallways and mark an X where the treasure is hidden! Then you might give it to someone to follow!
